LATEST NEWS:

1) NEW CD: Land of the Lochans by James Douglas

Composer James Douglas has launched his brand new CD: ‘Land of the Lochans’ at The Macphail Centre on Tuesday 8th November. The new CD includes some beautiful performances by George Gwilt and James Douglas and is a must for all flute fans. ‘Land of the Lochans’ pays homage to the beauty and the majesty of the scenery of N W Scotland with music for Piano & Flute (performed by flautist George Gwilt & James Douglas, Piano). “Try it!” says James Douglas. The CD is available to buy online now for only £8.99 or can also be purchased from Amazon, along with all of James Douglas' other recordings. If you haven't tried the Music of James Douglas, then 'Land of the Lochans' is for you.

2) The Caritas and Eschenbach Editions website has recently had a relaunch, with many more links, Order Forms to download, information and new photos, all contributing to a re-design and re-branding for the Publishers. 3) Eschenbach Editions are delighted to announce that 3 NEW Scores by Composer James Douglas have just been published in July 2011. The first is 'Emblems' which is a work scored for 11 Wind Instruments, in a combination of 2222 / 3. A Score is now available for sale, with parts available for Hire from Eschenbach Editions. The second work by James Douglas, is called 'Formations' and is for 11 Brass Instruments in a 3431 combination. The Composer estimates that this work would be a wonderful addition to a Brass Group. The Score is available to purchase with parts available for Hire from Eschenbach Editions. The third work is 'Sonnets for Orpheus' for Brass Quintet: 2 Trumpets, Horn, Trombone and Tuba. A Score is now on sale with parts available for Hire (contact details below).
