Many people ask me what do I do each day? Well, things are very different each day, totally depending on what either arrives in the post, which person phones up or what future plans are ongoing? For example, yesterday I attended a Wed Marketing workshop organised by Hi-Arts. Afterwards I was inspired and also somewhat daunted about the task ahead. It seems with the Web / Blogs / Social Networking, that they are all very much make it up as you go along and the rules change all the time. For example, when we began our website all those years ago, it was vital that you use a Website Designer (thanks Steve: www.wired-nomad.co.uk) but now from what was indicated at the Workshop yesterday, people are ringing in the changes and are doing it themselves! So can I add Designer and programmer to my other many roles as a sole trader?
By complete contrast, I also yesterday printed new Ice Cream Menus as part of my Marketing for The Frigate Cafe (www.ullapoolcatering.co.uk) as well as processed new CDs for The Ullapool Bookshop.
So what will today bring? Who knows? I'll keep you posted!
